BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick High School boys freshman team has been busy of late.
In a 70-62 win over Cony, Alex Demars had a gamehigh 18 points, six steals, eight assists and eight rebounds for the Dragons. Joe Almgren chipped in 14 points, Dawson Hebert had 12, and Forrest Blankenship and Jacob Lamoureax picked up eight points apiece.
Brunswick also claimed a low-scoring 43-42 win over Messalonskee on Thursday.
Alex Small led the way for the Dragons with 16 points, while Kyle Hanson and Lamoureax picked up five points apiece. Sam Dorval paced Brunswick with 10 rebounds. Demars added five assists and seven rebounds to go along with three steals as the Dragons improved to 6-5.
