SOUTH PARIS — The Mt. Ararat High School girls soccer team improved to 2-0 with a 4-0 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference victory over Oxford Hills on Tuesday.
Celia Ouellette paced the visitors with two goals, with one goal each coming from Torri Pelletier and Erin Tome.
Mt. Ararat, slated to visit Brunswick on Saturday at noon, outshot the 0-2 Vikings 21-2. Eagles netminder Michelle Pelletier had two stops.

Rachel Moroney exploded for three goals as the visiting Dragons rolled to a KVAC win at South China.
Kassidy Scarponi and Paige Tetu added a goal apiece, with Anna Cowan picking up two assists and Moroney one helper.
“I thought we controlled the game and took our chances well,” said Brunswick (2-0) coach Martyn Davison. “Erskine Academy (1-1) battled for every ball and never gave up, a credit to them. I thought Madeline Cowan, Paige Tetu, Julia Carpenter and Caley Nicholson had great games.”
Haley Murano earned her second straight shutout with six saves, while Erskine goaltender Courtney Bonsent turned aside 12 shots.

The Falcons opened its 2012 Western Maine Conference slate with a loss at Cumberland under the lights.
Necole Harrison scored the lone goal for Freeport (0-1 and slated to host Lake Region on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.).
In goal, Aubrey Pennell turned aside 13 shots.
Julia Mitiguy, Jocelyn Mitiguy and Allie Morrill had one goal apiece for 1-0 Greely, with Leah Young dishing out two assist.
