
The Centre St Arts Gallery will welcome John Gable as a new associate member artist at the gallery’s fourth anniversary celebration on Friday from 5-8 p.m. at 11 Centre St. in Bath. The reception is part of Bath’s Old Fashioned Christmas during the Bath Downtown Open House. Music will be provided by Frank Vigneau, keyboard, and Steve Footer, bass. Refreshments will be served, admission to the gallery is free and all are invited to help the 20 gallery members celebrate four years of showing local artists’ works.
Guest artist John Gable will officially join Centre St Arts Gallery as an associate member on Jan. 1, 2017. Gable works in several media and is known for his portrait and mural commissions.
Centre St Arts Gallery, LLC, is an artist-owned and operated gallery which opened in December of 2012. Twenty members made up of nine owner members and 11 associate members work in a variety of media including oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, casein tempera, mixed media, and clay. Andreas von Huene continues to exhibit bronze, stone and wood sculpture as “resident” guest artist.
The Centre St Arts Gallery is open six days a week: Monday and Wednesday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday noon to 4 p.m.
