YARMOUTH – Shoppers looking for holiday gifts for friends and family will find hundreds of options at the 24th annual Christmas Fair at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church at 396 Gilman Road. Wreaths, handcrafts, attic treasures, baked goods, gourmet soups, pet toys, books, DVDs, music – and more – will be available for sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6.

The fair, also featuring a silent auction and a light lunch of soups, salads and sandwiches, will be held in the church’s bright, postand beam space about 2 miles from downtown Yarmouth on the way to Cousins Island. Admission is free, with proceeds from sales helping benefit St. Bart’s community service programs.

Among the food offerings again this year is Gourmet Freezer, a line of pre-cooked, frozen soups and entrees created by St. Bart’s skilled chefs. These delicious meals make excellent gifts and save time during the busy holiday season. The soups will include vegetarian options along with other selections.

Another popular draw is a diverse selection of books, DVDs and music. St. Bart’s will sell these on two days: Friday, Dec. 5, and Saturday, Dec. 6. A “dealers only” sale, with a $10 admission, will be held Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. The public sale, with free admission, will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Friday and during the fair on Saturday. Prices will be $2 (hardcover) and $1 (softbound), with discounts offered from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday. For more information, contact Joe Michaud at 781-3805 or [email protected].
