BRUNSWICK — The public is invited to the Region Ten Open House Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at 68 Church Road in Brunswick. The open house features food for all, demonstrations and activities in program areas, free raffles for items made in the programs, and a chance to talk with instructors. College and military recruiters will be available to talk with students and parents and local employers will be talking about their job openings. Younger students are invited to tour programs that might interest them in high school and community members are welcome to see what Region Ten offers students.
Region Ten provides a technical education to students from Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Brunswick, Durham, Freeport, Harpswell and Topsham. Programs include Auto Technology, Auto Collision Repair, Building Trades, Commercial Art, Culinary Arts, Early Childhood Education, EMT-Basic, General Trades, Health Occupations/ CNA, Metal Fabrication/ Welding, Outdoor Powersports,
Pre-Apprenticeship, and Tech Ten Basic.
