VERNON, Conn. (AP) — A Mansfield man has been sentenced to serve four years in prison for stealing funds from two veterans’ organizations and using some of the money to pay for internet pornography.

The Journal Inquirer reports that 72-year-old Frederick Brown cut a deal with prosecutors and agreed to plead guilty to larceny charges.

Brown stole $143,000 from Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 938 in Willington and $12,300 from American Legion Post 14 in Vernon.

Brown pleaded guilty last Friday.
