“Caring for someone with memory loss is a significant responsibility with unique challenges and rewards,” said Louise Nadeau, LSW, Admissions Coordinator at Mid Coast Senior Health Center. “The Dementia Caregiver Support Group is designed to help participants understand the unique challenges of caring for someone with memory loss, while fostering supportive and beneficial group conversations.”

Each half-hour presentation is followed by a group discussion led by specialists from Mid Coast Senior Health Center’s memory care community. “This allows participants to explore the presentation themes in relation to their own experiences,” said Nadeau.
