TOPSHAM — A picturesque pumpkin patch will be set up at Mid-Coast Presbyterian Church, and will feature baked goods and craft items for sale in addition to the plentiful gourds.

The patch opens on Sunday, Oct. 12, at 11:30 a.m. It will be open daily through Halloween, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pumpkins are priced according to size. Bring the kids for some picture taking opportunities.

Pumpkins grown for this event provide employment for Native Americans on the Navajo Reservation in Farmington, N.M.

Mid-Cost Presbyterian Church is located at 84 Main St. For more information, call the church at 729-3193.
