Mike Michaud has been tested. After 30 years in the Maine legislature in both the House and the Senate and six in Washington in the House of Representatives, he has been repeatedly reelected and has worked tirelessly for the citizens of our state and country.
Since his first term in Congress, Mike has been dedicated to providing for veterans in both Maine and the nation. He presently serves as Ranking Member of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee, and among his many efforts on behalf of veterans, he has helped to make health care more accessible to those veterans who live in rural Maine.
Mike has made senior citizens a top priority. He has worked diligently to protect Medicare and Social Security, to make prescription drugs more affordable, and to promote consumer protection.
My husband was a veteran, and I am a senior. I plan to vote for Mike Michaud for governor. Mike knows how to compromise. He knows how to work across the aisle. He knows how to govern.
Please vote on November 4th and cast your ballot for Mike Michaud for governor.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
