BATH — The Brunswick Junior High School seventh and eighth-grade boys soccer team battled rival Bath Middle School on Monday.
In the eighth-grade contest, the Huskies trailed by one at the half, but rallied for a 3-1 win.
Giffin Bannon tied the game, and Lane Foushee scored on a penalty kick for a 2-1 lead. Grady Suhr finished the scoring for the visitors.
Bath goaltender Drew Marecek played well, and Max Brochu scored on a PK for the Destroyers.
In the seventh-grade match, Brunswick rolled to a 9-0 win.
Ollie Bateman had two goals in the win, while Jacob Musica, Cal Wilby, Henry Heyburn, Simon Paledski, Tucker Gagnon, Gus Silverman and Josh Doring had one.
Playing well for Bath were Xander Kirk and Cooper Mcgray.
