
Thelma, an avid reader enjoying the thrills of a murder mystery to relax, she also was a communicant of St. John’s The Baptist Church in Brunswick. Thelma had a wonderful sense of humor and maintained that until the end.
Thelma is survived by two sons: William and his wife, Patty Lavoie of Topsham, as well as Steven (Porky) and his wife Anne Lavoie of Topsham. Thelma is also survived by her grandsons Alan Lavoie of Lisbon and Joe Lavoie of Richmond, two great grandchildren, Alan Lavoie Jr. and Tristan Lavoie of Lisbon, niece Kathy Frost and husband Roland of Pittsfield and many nieces and nephews.
Thelma was predeceased by: Husband, Alphonse, Sister Evelyn Bowley and Grand Daughter, Amanda Grace Lavoie.
Funeral Arrangements by Demers-Desmond Funeral Home in Brunswick, Maine. At Thelma’s request there will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 1:00pm at St. John the Baptist Church, Pleasant Street, Brunswick.
