THE MT. ARARAT and Richmond high school varsity girls soccer teams were home recently, with the Eagles taking on Mt. Blue and the Bobcats playing host to Vinalhaven. Blue’s Rachel Bater; and Richmond’s Amber Loon finds some room with Vikings midfielder Maddie Hallowell (4) closing in. The Eagles lost to Mt. Blue, 1-0 on Saturday, while the Bobcats rolled to a 9-0 victory over Vinalhaven on Friday. Both teams return to action today, with Mt. Ararat visiting Edward Little and Richmond taking on rival Rangeley.
