BRUNSWICK
Brunswick police are looking for a man who attempted to rob a Union Street resident while brandishing a knife.
Police responded at about 8:22 a.m. Sunday to 66 Union St. for an attempted armed robbery. The victim reported he was approached in his driveway by a man wearing a mask to cover his face. The suspect displayed a knife and demanded money, but fled on foot when the victim said he did not have any.
The suspect is described as being a white male in his late teens to early-20s, between 5- foot-10 to 6-feet tall, with a thin to medium build. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and jeans. The mask was described as a nylon mask with some type of design, possibly a skeleton face.
The Brunswick Police Department is asking anyone with information about the incident to contact either Officer Brian Funke or Det. Sgt. Marty Rinaldi at (207) 725- 5521.
