SEN. SUSAN COLLINS, center, was at Maine Maritime Museum last week with Bath Iron Works leaders — from left, Dugan Shipway (2003-2009), Jeff Geiger (2009-2013), Fred Harris (current) and Bill Haggett (1981-1991). All were gathered at Maine Maritime Museum in Bath to honor Haggett as the recipient of the 2014 Mariners Award, given annually by the museum in recognition of an individual or organization for extraordinary contributions to Maine’s maritime heritage. Collins was the keynote speaker.
