GREENVILLE (AP) — Two airports in Maine will receive nearly $2 million in Federal Aviation Administration grants to make improvements.
The airports are located in Greenville and Auburn.
Greenville Municipal Airport will receive more than $1 million to help construct a parallel taxiway. The money will pay for the construction of a 4,700 foot taxiway parallel to the main runway.
Auburn-Lewiston Airport will receive nearly $900,000 to help pay for the expansion of the terminal aircraft apron, where planes park, load and unload.
