
He was born in Bath on April 6, 1956, a son of George E. and Una L. (Witham) Dyer.
He attended Bath schools and Morse High School. Dave was a carpenter all his life. He began with his uncle Stan Dyer and was later self employed. He also worked with Terry Markham for a while.
Dave was a member of the Bath Lodge of Elks and a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Bath.
He enjoyed watching Nascar and spending time with friends.
He is survived by his mother, Una Dyer of Bath, one stepson, Damon Ely and his wife Amanda of Middletown, NY, one brother, Daniel Dyer and his wife Susan of Woolwich, one sister, Debbie Dyer of Bath, two stepgrandchildren, Waide and Alice Ely of New York and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at the Bath Lodge of Elks. Arrangements are by Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High St., Bath. Condolences may be made online at www.DaigleFuneralHome.co m.
