BRUNSWICK — Come on, you knew it was coming. The Theater Project’s final Young People’s Theater Camp production of the summer is 10 WAYS TO AVOID THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE, by Don Zolidis, onstage August 15, 16 & 17.

It’s the end of the world, and hordes of rampaging zombies are about to get you. What do you do? Try your hand at kung fu against the undead? Attempt to reason with creatures that would rather eat brains than use them? Fortunately, there is this handy and hilarious guide to surviving the zombie apocalypse….and sacrifice the weak is step number one.

Directed by Theater Project alum and St. Lawrence University graduate Sean McGuire, these sixteen junior high actors met for the first time in early August and began the creative process with theater games and improv exercises designed to help them get comfortable on stage, build characters, and understand scene work. The Theater Project’s 10 WAYS TO AVOID THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE is onstage Friday, August 15 and Saturday, August 16 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, August 17 at 2 p.m. All tickets are Pay-What-You- Want, with a suggested price of $6, and are available at www.theaterproject.com, or by calling the box office at 729-8584. The Theater Project is located at 14 School Street in Brunswick.
