
Carol was born on July 6th, 1936 in Wiscasset, ME. She graduated from Wiscasset High School and later obtained her beauticians license.
She was predeceased by her mother Dorothy Lermond, father Merton Oliver, step-father, Herbert “Gump” Lermond and sister Nancy Anne Oliver.
Carol is survived by 2 sons, James York, Sr. and his wife Mellissa of Phippsburg, John York and his wife Anita of Brunswick, a daughter, Dottie York-Chubbuck and her husband
Brian of Lisbon Falls, 5 grandchildren, James III, Erica, Edward, Shana and Shayne and 1 great grandchild, Latham.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 12 p.m. at the David E. Desmond & Son Funeral Home, 638 High Street, Bath, with the Rev Dan Coffin officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
