TOPSHAM
Cathance River Education Alliance and the Topsham Library will host a program called “Land Trust Nature Sites: A Photographic Tour” on Tuesday, July 29, featuring photographer David White.
The program is part of the monthly Community Nature Programs Series CREA and the library offer and will take place at the Topsham Library from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
White has explored area land trust properties and will share “a magical, ecological world through his impressive high-powered lens,” an announcement about the event states. “Is it possible to capture a crystalclear image of a hummingbird in mid-air, although its wings can beat 80 times per second? David can. Join us to marvel at the beauty that abounds, and hear about the special places we can explore in our community.”

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
