BEGINNING SATURDAY, ICON Contemporary Art will be showing new paintings by Falmouth artist Jeff Kellar. Kellar's works deal with architecture, space, color and surface. They are made through a process of applying clay, resin and pigment to a variety of grounds, most recently aluminum panels. Over an extended history of shows at ICON, these strategies have resulted in an accomplished and regularly growing and evolving body of work. Pictured above is some of his work. A reception to open the exhibition will take place on Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. The gallery is located at 19 Mason St. in Brunswick. ICON Contemporary Art is open weekdays 1-5 p.m. and Saturdays 1-4 p.m. The show will run through Aug. 6. For more information, call (207) 725-8157.
