RICHMOND — Richmond voters will elect municipal officials at the polls Tuesday.
Five candidates seek two three-year terms on the fiveperson Board of Selectmen. The top two vote getters from among Pauline Beasley, Frederic Browne, Clarence Cummins,
David Guilmette and Gary Poulin will win the seats. Cummins is an incumbent seeking re-election.
In other contests, Thomas Webster challenges incumbent Robert Bodge Jr. for a three-year term on the Richmond Utilities District board of trustees.
Jay Brown and Lori Umberhind are competing for a oneyear seat on the Regional School Unit 2 board of directors.
Kimberly Valek-Molnar is unopposed for a position on the Budget Committee. Two other positions on that committee will either be filled by write-in or by appointment from the Board of Selectmen.
Enterprise Grange hosted a forum for municipal candidates last Wednesday. For a summary of that event, visit www.timesrecord.com.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
