MARLBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — Authorities say two people were arrested after an alleged robbery attempt led to the discovery of firearms and seven explosive devices in Massachusetts.
Forty-year-old Andrew Josefek and 34-year-old Kelly Walker, both of Framingham, face charges of possession of explosives, armed assault with the intent to rob and other offenses. They were both arraigned Tuesday in Marlborough.
It’s unclear if they have attorneys who can comment on the charges.
Police say they were called to a home around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday on a report of an armed man identified as Josefek. Authorities say he had come to the victim’s home and demanded money from him.
Police say a search of Josefek’s vehicle turned up explosive devices and guns. They say four devices were live. Authorities say Walker was inside the car.
