PORTLAND (AP) — The Spanish team Tales II, crewed by Gonzalo Botín and Pablo Santurde, won the Atlantic Cup title Saturday after dominating both the offshore and inshore legs.
Earendil, sailed by French duo Catherine Pourre and Antoine Carpentier, finished second and American boat Oakcliff was third. Oakcliff was sailed by Liz Shaw and Libby Greenhalgh on leg one and Hobie Ponting and Andrew O’Donnell on leg two.
