For the sixth year in a row, Pejepscot Historical Society is offering a variety of Sunday afternoon history walking tours in the region throughout the summer. Tours are at 1PM and last approximately one hour. The following tours are being offered:

June 12 – Brunswick’s Railroad, with Ed Galvin

June 19 – Domhegan, Chamberlain’s Summer Home, with Troy Ancona

June 26 – Women’s History I: Downtown, with Candace Kanes

July 10 – Pennellville, with Nancy Pennell OR Bob Biatte

July 17 – Harpswell Historical Society Buildings & Grounds, with Dave Hackett

July 24 – Chamberlain’s Bowdoin, with Steve Garrett

July 31 – Maine Street, with Dick Snow

Aug 7 – Brunswick Naval Air Station (guides TBA)

Aug 14 – Women’s History II: Bowdoin College & Federal Street, with Candace Kanes

Aug 21 – Below the Falls: Along Brunswick’s Historic Lower Androscoggin River Front, with Fred Koerber

Aug 28 – First Parish Cemetery, with Ron Romano

Sept 11 – Pleasant Street, with Dick Snow

Sept 18 – Lower Village—Topsham, with Dana Cary and Susan Sorg

Tickets are $5 each for the general public or free for PHS members, payable at the door. All tours begin at the Chamberlain Museum, 226 Maine Street, unless otherwise noted upon registration. RSVPs are required by calling PHS at (207) 729-6606 or emailing [email protected]. Deadline for registering is the Thursday before the tour.
