AUGUSTA — Macie Gagne and Abbie Baker combined for seven goals as the Morse High School jayvee girls lacrosse team defeated Cony, 9-2, on Monday.
Gagne had four goals while Baker picked up three in the win, which gives the Shipbuilders a 9-1 record. Eliza Wild and Emily Belanger chipped in a goal each, while Morse goaltender Reannan Larmon had one save.
Clarrissa Lettre had both goals for the Rams, with netminder Kat Biasuz turning aside 15 shots.
Playing well for Morse were Marija Medenica and Ella Martin.
