FARMINGTON — Liam Huston scored on a wild pitch in the eighth inning as the Mt. Ararat High School jayvee baseball team downed Mt. Blue, 3-2, on Wednesday.
Cam Grant struck out the side in the bottom of the eighth to seal the Eagles’ victory. Grant went the distance with 10 strikeouts and five hits. He threw 93 pitches.
Kevin Giroux had two hits to pace the offense.
Mt. Ararat (6-3) visits Cony today.
