FREEPORT — Maddie McDonough and Abbie Baker scored two goals each as the Morse High School girls lacrosse team edged Freeport, 7-6, on Monday.
Macie Gagne picked up a goal and dished out two assists for the 5-1 Shipbuilders, while McDonough added two helpers. Emma Warner and Emily Belanger chipped in a goal each in the win.
Sophie Wilson and Reannan Larmon split time in the Morse cage, and Zoe Pascuzzo and Warner led the Shipbuilder defense.
Morse hosts Mt. Ararat on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
