AUGUSTA (AP) — Maine energy officials say the statewide average cash price for home heating oil is $3.77 per gallon, an 8-cent reduction since March 26.
The Governor’s Energy Office says Monday’s survey shows the highest prices in central Maine and the lowest in the southwestern part of the state.
Energy Office Director Ken Fletcher says this is a good time to consider weatherization for the next year’s heating season.
