TOPSHAM — Ethan Boyko tossed six solid innings to lead the Mt. Ararat High School jayvee baseball team to a 14-7 victory over Camden Hills recently.
Boyko surrendered three hit and struck out three. At the plate, he had three RBIs to pace the offense, which also received solid contributions from Liam Huston (three runs), Dakota Lopez (two hits, two RBIs) and Gideon Wheeler (two hits, two RBIs).
Mt. Ararat traveled to Bangor on Thursday, falling 11-4.
Cole Bryant had a pair of hits for the 5-2 Eagles, with Kevin Giroux, Ryan Glass, Huston and Cam Grant each driving in a run.
Grant pitched 4 2/3 innings, allowing eight hits with four strikeouts.
