TOPSHAM — The second annual Mt. Ararat boys lacrosse Alumni game is slated to be held on Sunday, beginning at noon.
The event remembers the life of former Eagles standout Rolando Amador, who died during his training at the U. S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.
Amador, who lived in Harpswell, was a three-sport athlete who graduated from Mt. Ararat High School in 2011. He had “ honor, integrity and inspired many, and because of his kind heart we all better individuals,” according to a news release.
No entrance fee will be charged. Donations will be accepted for a scholarship in Amador’s name.
Former and current Eagle players are encouraged to attend and participate in the game.
