A TRACTOR TRAILER TRUCK headed south on Interstate 295 went off the road Tuesday night just north of Exit 43. Richmond FIre Department was called to the crash at 10:22 p.m. and Bowdoinham Fire Department also responded. The truck landed in shin- to kneedeep water and the driver was able to walk after the crash. The Maine Department of Environmental Protection was called because some diesel spilled into the water. The truck was totaled and efforts were under way today to remove the vehicle.
