OAKLAND — Cameron Glover scored three goals and dished out an assist, and Alex Croatti, Bailey Caparratto and Chris Snyder each had two goals as the Brunswick High School boys lacrosse team rolled to a 13-3 victory over Messalonskee in Eastern Maine Class A action on Wednesday.
Brunswick, 2-0 and slated to host rival Mt. Ararat (1-0) on Friday at 6:30 p.m., jumped on top 3-0, led 5-2 at the half and 8-2 after three quarters.
Mitchell Cooney added a goal and two assists for the Dragons, with Seth Holmblad and Winston Sullivan chipping in a goal and one helper apiece. Charlie Nau also scored a goal, with Croatti adding an assist to his totals.
In goal, Brunswick netminders James Wilgus and Chris Mrvichin combined on 12 stops, while Sam Fortin won 68 percent of his faceoffs.
Aidan Culkias paced 0- 2 Messalonskee with two goals, with Luke Vigue chipping in a goal.
