TOPSHAM — Master Gardener Ruth Bouchard Klein will be at the Topsham Public Library at 6 p.m. Thursday providing a basic introduction to vegetable gardening.
Learn about the importance of soil, size and slope, and other garden location factors as well as what to plant and grow, and the fundamentals of crop rotation. This is class suitable for beginners and is open to all. No registration is required.
Bouchard Klein became a master gardener in 2014. She grew up with gardens and has gardened for most of her life. As a master gardener, she has volunteered in several places including Topsham as well as the library itself. She is particularly interested in introducing people to gardening with this event.
