BATH — The Morse High School jayvee baseball team beat Belfast, 6-3 at home on Wednesday.
Nick Doughty pitched a complete game. He struck out 12, walked one and allowed no earned runs.
Taylor Shaw had a hit, a stolen base, two runs scored, and was a defensive standout behind the plate.
Tyler Young added a hit, stolen base and a run scored, and Tait Nygaard a double and a run scored.
Chase Smith was a defensive standout in the outfield, and Riley Lamarre and Davis Newell played strong defensively up the middle.
