OKEMO, VT. — Myles Silverman of Brunswick won the 15-17 year old age group and had the fastest time of all 180 snowboarders at the Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge Championships.
Silverman was timed in 22.14.
The Mountain Dew vertical challenge goes to 28 mountains in the mid Atlantic and New England regions over the course of a season. The top three finishers in each age category are invited to the finals, which were held recently in Okemo.
Silverman qualified in February at Mount Sunapee, N.H.
