BRUNSWICK — A Brunswick woman was taken to Parkview Adventist Medical Center on Tuesday afternoon after her car hit a stone wall and rolled over.
Sally Hinman, 53, of 26 Tanglewood Drive, apparently swerved to avoid a collision with another vehicle and skidded off the road, colliding with a stone wall along Collinsbrook Road, Deputy Chief Marc Hagan of the Brunswick Police Department said today.
The 2008 Hyundai rolled over, landing on the driver’s side. Brunswick firefighters had to cut the roof off to extricate her, Brunswick Police Officer Patrick Mahar said.
Hinman was taken to Parkview with minor injuries and a complaint of back pain. Her condition was not available at press time.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
