BRUNSWICK — Spectrum Generations will offer a 6 week course to aid family and friends in caring for someone with dementia.The course will be held at the United Methodist Church in Brunswick. According to Spectrum, throughout the 6 week program participants build an attitude that fosters confidence and a sense of mastery in their caregiver role. Feedback will be provided and strategies developed to support successful caregiving. The program is sponsored by the Office of Elder Services, Department of Health and Human Services and funded by a grant from the U.S. Administration on Aging. Pre-registration is required.
