KITTERY (AP) — The USS Miami attack submarine has arrived at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for maintenance and upgrade work.
The 360-foot Los Angelesclass submarine and its crew arrived Thursday at the shipyard in Kittery, where it will remain for about 20 months.
The submarine recently completed a five-month deployment in Europe, with port calls in Norway, Scotland, England and Spain.
