
Bill graduated from Morse High School, class of 1975. He was previously employed by Bath Iron Works, Stinson Canning Company and the Slovak Club in Lisbon Falls. He enjoyed trivia, football, fishing, horseshoes and participated in dart tournaments and competition pistol shooting. He was a member of the Slovak Catholic Association, The Left Hand Club, Sons of American Legion, A Lifetime member of the Bath Elks Club.
He was predeceased by his father John J. Hlister, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Miriam R. Hlister of Baltimore, MD, two sisters, Janet M. of Baltimore MD, Kathy Woodman and her husband, Brian, their sons, Jonathan and Thomas, all of Falmouth, and a brother Glenn Gamrat and his wife Darlene of Sabattus and his children, Nick of Everett WA, and Jessica of Cape Coral FL. He also has many cousins.
A celebration of his life will be on
April 2nd, 2016 from
1-4 pm at The Slovak
Club, 26 Avery St,
Lisbon Falls.
