CONSTRUCTION OF WALKING PATHS in Waterfront Park continues this winter whenever the snow isn’t falling. Hoping to have the paths complete by the start of the Bath Farmers Market this summer, workers from Labrecque Construction lay concrete pavers along the paths, which will converge near the pier in a semi-circle plaza, according to Francis Cushing, who designed the project. That plaza will feature an eight-point compass rose of multi-colored pavers. The paths make up the second phase of the project, following work last year to extend the pier and stabilize the shore. “We’ve had a lot of nice comments from people walking through the park,” Cushing said today. “People really enjoy what’s evolving there.”
