Kay worked several jobs during her lifetime, but was a homemaker for most of her life.
She loved to crochet, quilt, and hook rugs. Her home was always filled with plants and her collection of salt & pepper shakers. She was devoted to her family and could always be relied on for support and love. She never interfered, gave advise only when asked and always put her family first.
She was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church.
Kay was pre- deceased by her husband, Florian J. Morin; a son, Andrew H. Morin and a daughter, Patricia G. Roinested.
She is survived by a son, Florian C. Morin of Spring Valley, CA; two daughters: Katherine F. Morgan and her husband John of Readfield and Barbara A. McCarty and her husband Walter of Litchfield; a son-in-law, Norman Roinested of Windsor; a daughter- in law, Gracy (Misty) Morin of Lewiston; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff at Augusta Rehabilitation Center for the care and concern they gave Catherine during her time with them.
At her request, there will be no public visiting hours. Following cremation, a graveside service will be held in the spring in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Western Ave., Manchester.
