BRUNSWICK
Mother Nature had her way with winter sports once again.
A jam-packed Tuesday schedule was pretty much wiped out with most northern and Downeast schools competing. See game list below.
“We have postponed Tuesday’s basketball games due to the weather,” said Morse AD Scott Walker. “We have rescheduled the girls’ basketball games at Gardiner for Wednesday at 3:30 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. We have rescheduled the boys games for Wednesday night after the Bath Middle School games. We will not be able to play the freshman game due to this conflict. The jayvee game will start at 5:30, the varsity game will follow at approximately 7 p.m.”
The Morse swimmers were scheduled to compete at the Alfond Center versus Waterville, but that was also taken off the docket, TBA.
The Mt. Ararat/Cony basketball games were originally reset for tonight, but Cony was unable to accommodate the change. No future date has been set.
Mt. Ararat boys and girls ice hockey (boys at Edward Little, girls home with the Eddies) will be rescheduled. Swimming at Edward Little will be made up on Dec. 27 (7 p.m.).
The Oak Hill boys basketball game at Wiscasset was postponed to a later date.
