BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick High School girls jayvee Orange team took command against Kennebunk, out-scoring the Rams 26-6 in the middle quarters as the Dragons won 37-21 on Saturday.
Brunswick continued to apply its stingy defense, pressuring the Ram guards while controlling the post play.
Margaret Dickinson was the anchor of the Dragon defense, blocking four shots and grabbing seven rebounds to go along with three steals. Heather Kinee, Allie Eck and Anna Kousky relentlessly pressured Kennebunk, creating numerous turnovers during Brunswick’s second- and third-quarter domination.
Eleven players scored in the Dragons’ offensive balanced attack, as Rian Sachs led all scorers with six points. Kinee, Johnnnie Folsom and Sachs were prominent in facilitating Brunswick’s offense throughout the contest.
