To the Editor:

I’ve played my keyboard for the past five years in front of Big Lots at Cook’s Corner.

I was a volunteer for the Salvation Army. When I moved to Maine from Peoria, Ill., I found many new friends here. They stopped by and we shared the holiday spirit together.

This year I can’t play my keyboard because the Salvation Army has no volunteers there.

I miss seeing my friends and sharing my joy in serving God by playing my keyboard.
