Nora (Sidelinger) Rose, 65, passed away quietly December 5, 2017, in the comfort of her home with her family by her side in Fort Hood, Texas.

Nora was born on August 17, 1952, in Gardiner, Maine, to the late James Norris (JR.) and Frances Shaw Sidelinger.

She enjoyed traveling with her daughter whom she has lived with for the last 16 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and wonderful friend who will be truly missed. Her family was her world.

She is survived by her three children: sons, Christopher Rose of Southwest

Harbor, ME; Jonathan Rose of Brunswick, ME; her daughter, Amanda Pierce and her husband Matthew Pierce of Fort Hood, TX; eleven grandchildren; four siblings, James Norris Sidelinger III and his wife Shirley of Westbrook, ME; Susan Powers and her husband Norman of Rockfall, CT; Craig Sidelinger and his wife Laurie of Ypsilanti, MI; Richard Sidelinger and his wife Anna of Richmond, ME; many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held for Nora at a later date in Bailey Island, Maine.
