BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick High School girls junior varsity Orange basketball team raced out to a 14-4 first-quarter lead and added to their advantage by outscoring Morse, 15-6 in the second quarter as the Dragons defeated the Shipbuilders, 56-22 on Saturday.
Brunswick was paced offensively by Kendall Dow, who scored a game-high 14 points. Teammate Adria Doane added 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Tanisha McKenzie scored eight points, while Hannah Fortier and Chloe Coombs combined for 14 points.
