BRUNSWICK
Town councilors have scheduled an executive session for Monday evening, to be held after the public meeting — which begins at 7 p.m. — is concluded.
According to the meeting agenda posted on the town’s website, the closed session will pertain to the council’s regular evaluation of Town Manager Gary Brown’s performance.
It’s the council’s second executive session in 10 days; a previous closed meeting was held Nov. 22, during which Brown was not in attendance.
No explanation was given for why the session is scheduled for the end of Monday’s meeting.
Telephone calls to Town Council Chairwoman Suzan Wilson were not returned by The Times Record’s press deadline Friday.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
