Goodenow Award, given annually in recognition of excellence in operations and the maintenance of a municipal waste water treatment facility. Goodenow, for whom the award is named, began his career with the Brunswick Sewer District before moving on to become superintendent of the treatment plant in Falmouth. The Brunswick Sewer District also was recently awarded a $2,000 safety grant from the Maine Municipal Association.
