Camden Hills edged Brunswick, 3-2, in the girls high school Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Championship on Thursday at Lawrence High School.

Ella Pierce, Kristina Kelly and Kassie Krul scored a goal each for the Windjammers, who are the No. 1 seed in the Class A North postseason.

Meanwhile, Brunswick receive a goal apiece from Portia Woestman and Emma Banks, with Maeve Arthur and Anna Kousky each earning an assist.

Beth Labbe had eight saves in the Brunswick cage, while Isabella Lann turned away seven shots for Camden.

“An end to end exciting game that was evenly-matched between two excellent teams and decided by the odd goal in five,” said Brunswick coach Martyn Davison, whose Dragons host Lewiston in a Class A North quarterfinal on Tuesday at 3 p.m. “I thought it was a game of two halves, with Camden controlling the first half and ourselves the second half. A great championship by both teams.”
