BATH — The Chocolate Church Arts Center has announced all-ages auditions for its 2017 holiday family production based on the film “White Christmas.”
Auditions will be held 6-8 p.m. Oct. 1 and 2 at the Chocolate Church Art Gallery, located at 804 Washington St. in Bath.
Actors should be prepared to sing the song of their choice — a capella — dance and read from the script. This all-ages show is produced by the Chocolate Church Arts Center, directed by Wayne Otto with musical direction by Mort Achter. There is also a children’s chorus. Families are encouraged to audition together.
This musical adaptation of “White Christmas” features seventeen Irving Berlin songs and a book by David Ives and Paul Blake. The score features standards that include “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean” and “White Christmas.” The production will be staged Dec. 15-17 and 21-23. Rehearsal times are to be determined. For more information call (207) 442-8455 or email [email protected]
